We are keeping busy at Pamela Hope Designs even when Pamela is away. Pamela has been enjoying herself on a few out-of-town trips and I have been holding down the fort!

We have started several new projects for clients wanting window treatments, lighting, and wallpaper to give their new homes a finished look. New light fixtures and wallpaper always elevate the style of a room. We will have completed photos soon to share. Here are a few examples of our selections. (see below girls’ photos)

We are in the final stages with both of our large Richmond-area projects. It’s exciting to see everything come together as planned. One property is in the middle of pool construction. The fantastic pool has several water features, and a beautiful metal sculpture is being designed. Fire and water will combine with colored lights and a removable dance floor above the water for dancing all night long. It’s going to be quite a show. Here’s a less- than-glamorous construction photo that shows the complexity of just one area of this fantastic outdoor living space.

In the very large, 20,000-square-foot home, we recently installed nearly all of their new art. The installation was an all-day event, and it looks beautiful. Their family room furniture will arrive in the next few weeks along with a few final rugs and accessories. The family has moved in and is enjoying the home.

On the home front, it has been very busy at the Smith house. We had a family get-together for a “Happy Graduation/Going off to College” party for Taylor and Mia. We got to see family members we haven’t seen in a while and the girls got to see their second cousins, who are also twins! The girls have received their final class schedules and we will soon travel to Nacogdoches and then to Huntsville in two days to move both girls into their dorms. They are very excited and eager to start their first day of classes!
