In anticipation of the season, we continue to be thankful for our wonderful clients and a bit of a turn in the weather!
We kept busy with our installations and recently completed a high rise apartment for our client moving back to Texas from California. The apartment was fully furnished, so he could hit the ground running when he moved in. We purchased quality furniture that was classic in style and color so he could use it in future homes.

He had a vintage Baylor University calendar that he sent us so we could frame the classic game posters. They turned out great! See the photo below. We were also thrilled to commission several pieces of art to start his collection. Pamela worked through our friend, Natalie Cochran with Disegno Studio, who connected us with a new artist, Matthew Menger. After looking at many potential artists, our client loved Matthew’s clean and geometric work. When we met Natalie and Matthew for the installation last week, Pamela commented on how beautiful the pieces were and how she thought they had very widespread appeal. Pamela plans to use both Natalie and Matthew again soon.

On October 1, we attended the annual American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Ruby Awards. I am proud to announce we won two awards! We won Best Bathroom and Honorable Mention for Kitchen! Pamela and I spent many hours designing these spaces and are honored to have won. We invited my daughter Mia with me and she had a wonderful time meeting our colleagues and seeing the work we all do.

On the home front, we attended our last high school homecoming game. It seems to arrive earlier every year. My girls had a good time and I didn’t shed too many tears. We won 47-17! My daughter Taylor will be getting her driver’s license very soon. This means I will be up late nights on the weekends until I know she is home safe and sound.

Fall fun and cooler weather are a treat. Let’s all celebrate—a winning game, our accomplishments, and the new season!

Until next time, let your creative juices flow!
