A beautiful photo of an interior design project is important to a designer. Whether you are putting your home on the market or submitting your project to be featured in the latest interior design publications, a good photo can make or break your plans.

A few weeks ago, we had a photo shoot in the Kingwood home we had been working on since November 2014. We had a wonderful time designing this space with our lovely clients and the photos are absolutely stunning! More importantly, they just love their home and have become dear friends in the process. We can’t wait to share the full project with you, but in the meantime, here’s a sneak peek!a-picture-is-worth-a-thousand-words

After the Kingwood photo shoot, Pamela and I took a break for a little R&R. After all, all work and no play make for dull design! Pamela hopped on a plane and left for Colorado to enjoy a winter sports trip with her friends. She had a blast tubing, snowshoeing and hiking, as well as wining, dining and shopping around town. The first night of her trip brought lots of fresh snow, but the sun came through for the rest of the trip.

While Pamela was braving the cold, I enjoyed a spa day at the lovely Fiori Spa courtesy of Ferguson Enterprises. Ferguson’s Marketing Manager, Lindsey Root, was our hostess and she did a phenomenal job! We were treated to a tasty lunch followed by a 50-minute massage. It was a great start to my weekend!
