While Pamela was away enjoying her vacation and being inspired by the beautiful Mediterranean, Joni and I kept busy helping clients move forward in the recovery of their homes. It will take some time, but we will work hard to make their homes beautiful again.

Our existing work with clients continues as always. I recently helped select tile for a Bellaire client’s kitchen backsplash and her powder room floor. We also selected a gorgeous, knotty grass cloth wallpaper for an accent wall in her powder room. Islandia Glass, a subway glass tile in a glossy finish, was used for the kitchen back splash and it turned out beautifully. It gives an updated look to the kitchen and works well with the existing cabinets and countertops. Thank you to our trusted vendor Arizona Tile and Pam Behrend for the help. The powder room paper will be installed next, and we are excited for the finished results.

Our Richmond client has moved in after a long construction process. They were so excited, and they invited us to a photo shoot and ribbon cutting. We still have a few things to work on but were thrilled to attend and be a part of their celebration. We wish them many happy years in their new home! They have been such fun people to work with over the last year and a half.

On the home front, my girls were a little homesick and both decided to come home for a weekend visit. SFA played SHSU in the Battle of the Piney Woods at NRG Stadium. Taylor is in the marching band at SFA so, she got to march on the field. We had a great time at the game and loved watching the bands performance. I love having the girls home!

Until next time, let your creative juices flow!
